COURSE DESCRIPTION

This class introduces students to designing 3D-printable objects using Fusion 360. Each student will get a 3D printing toolkit and learn the process to design and print multiple items.They will learn:
- How to transfer ideas into Fusion 360 sketches.
- Design and build items.
- Prep designed items for 3D printing.
- Post processing. (Cleaning up the model if needed.)
- Showcase the finished models.They will explore the full process—from design, to printing and finishing.

James has enjoyed designing and printing for years and has hundreds of hours of design experience. He’s created and 3D-printed many original items that solved real world problems!

Drawing Basics:
Learn the foundational and practical concepts needed to take the ideas in your head and confidently put them on paper! In just four 90-minute classes, beginners will stop guessing and learn how to actually build solid, 3D art. Start learning to make what you imagine.What You’ll Learn:
Day 1:
3D Form – Make flat shapes pop off the page using light and shadow.
Day 2:
Perspective & Space – Use sighting techniques and introductory perspective to create depth and draw the world around you.
Day 3:
The Face Grid – Master the universal map for placing facial features.
Day 4:
The Figure – Build dynamic action poses using basic 3D blocks and cylinders.The Details:

A guided-access course where students use cutting-edge printers to slice and print their own projects or suggested designs.

A guided-access course where students use cutting-edge printers to slice and print their own projects or suggested designs.These are intended to give students opportunity to collaberate with other students, be inspired, and broaden their 3D printing knowledge. As they print their projects, they can have hands on help with slicing, printing and troubleshooting. The course is not meant to be a 'one and done,' but can be taken as many times as needed. And each classes will vary depending on the student's interests.We're building this course to inspire young creators / makers in a fun, hands-on environment — we look forward to having you in class!

After the first week of class an invoice will be sent to you.
Please turn in the invoice to your school program so payment can be made.

FOCUS

Please complete the “Course Approval Plan” then turn it in to FOCUS. (Please send me a copy also.)
THIS MUST BE DONE 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE CLASS STARTS FOR FOCUS TO PAY FOR IT.

IDEA

Please fill out the Vendor Direct Payment Request then send to me for final signature. I will sign it and get it back to you as quickly as possible.
(I understand that payment is only issued after the course, but I need a completed form before class begins.)
PLEASE HAVE THIS DONE BEFORE THE CLASS STARTS.

Please turn in the necessary paperwork for payment to be made.
